Moneta Park is located off Route 122 on Rucker Road. Less than 50 acres of the park’s approximately 119 acres have been developed, making it a wonderful place to escape and enjoy nature. As funding permits, further development of the park will take place.

Current amenities include:

• 2 multi-use ball fields (baseball, softball, soccer)
• Tee-ball field
• 1 football/soccer field
• 18-Hole Disc Golf Course
• Parking
• Picnic shelters with restroom
• Trail system for walkers, hikers, mountain bikers and others.

Local foundations, civic clubs and citizens have generously donated a great amount of their time and money to the park’s development.

The late Smyth Meador and the James A. Meador Foundation were instrumental in the purchase and development of the park land and a memorial to him and recognition to other contributors is provided within the park.
