Bedford County is proud to offer an Adaptive Sports program that allows children of all abilities to participate in sports.

The program debuted in early 2023 as a basketball camp. Staff added adaptive soccer to the lineup in the fall of 2023. An adaptive baseball/softball program was launched in the spring of 2024.

Adaptive Sports sessions operate like sports camps. Participants start off with stretching and warm-ups. Then, participants will work on skills before scrimmaging other players and, sometimes, their parents and coaches.
