Praise Him Dance Academy offers classes for ages preschool through 12th grade in tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop, contemporary. 

 Classes are broken up into a fall and spring semester. Fall semester classes are traditional classes where students are taught technique and correct form in their specific style. Spring semester classes are where students put the form and technique together and learn choreography to perform at the recital.

Bedford County Parks and Recreation will hosts a toy-filled Easter Egg Hunt at Falling Creek Park in Bedford. Participants also can take pictures with the Easter Bunny and participate in a craft with Bedford Central Library staff.

Saturday, June 6 | Registration opens March 1, 2026 

This event at Smith Mountain Lake State Park is geared towards ages 6-14 who are Bedford County residents who want to learn more about the great outdoors.

Participants learn to cast, identify fish, choose bait, and then tie it on the line. They also go on fire boat rides, learn about boat/water safety, shoot on a paintball range, and more.

Fathers and daughters are invited to dress up and make a night of lasting memories together.
