The New London Cannery reopens for the season Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
For more than 50 years, Bedford County has operated this cannery for the benefit of gardeners who want to preserve their harvest.
Please note the new hours of operation for the 2026 season:
- Tuesdays: 6:30-10 a.m.
- Thursdays: 2-6 p.m.
- One Saturday each month: 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Saturday dates (subject to change):
- July 18
- August 15
- September 19
- October 17
- November 14
- December 12
